  • Though it would be ideal if you had an e-kit or acoustic drum set, I can teach you ways to practice without one.

    One advantage of drums is anything is a drum! though you will need to buy drum sticks (& ideally a drum pad)

    I have had many students that, after several lessons have improved enough that have been motivated to buy a drum set!

  • I have taught dozens of first timers of ALL ages!(The oldest student I had was 76!) and after several lessons they all have improved!

    Though, I can’t promise an improvement, I am sure that I will be able to help you play at least basic beats after a few lessons.

    You’d be surprised how natural rhythm is to humans!

  • I’m not a sterile, overly academic teacher..

    I try to keep things fun as well as educational .

    I tend to paint broad strokes then come back and tighten things up.

    If a student is having an issue with something, we can move on and revisit it at a better time.

  • I offer a low rate package deal of 3 (1 hour) lessons for Only $120.

    After that it’s $60 per lesson.

    For minors, I can offer $40 ½ hour lessons.

    I accept Cash, Check or Venmo.

  • Generally I don’t like to teach under 13, but I can make acceptations.

    I only make house calls for minors, so they have to own a drum set.

    Travel expenses many apply.
